The Arizona White Mountains Sanctuary.
Our dream is to eventually build a sanctuary that will act immediately in rescuing animals across Arizona, giving them a place where time is not against them. This sanctuary will have revolving volunteers and resident staff to care for the animals in all capacities. With Partnerships, Volunteers, Investors, and our Members, we hope to make this dream come true. Until then, we are going to have our boots on the ground, amplifying the animals in need at our local shelters and building what we call, a "Volunteer Sanctuary Pool" by using a free program we have developed called our Intervention Program. We currently voluntarily promote PACC and their efforts.
The mission statement of the Pima Animal Care Center (PACC) is to provide timely service to residents and compassionate care to animals, while working to support public safety, find homes for homeless animals and educate the community about responsible pet ownership.
For now, our commitment with PACC is based on our own passion to save animals. Going forward, we are currently seeking to officially partner with them. So, stay tuned.
Having said this, above anything else, above donating to us, or volunteering with us, we encourage everyone in the community to get behind PACC and educate yourselves on the current animal welfare crisis they are facing. They should not have to face this on their own. They need to have community support and here at Pause For Paws, we aim to bridge that gap.
